I GET UP AT… 6am. The early bird catches the worm!
THE HABIT I NEED TO BREAK IS… Doubting myself. As I’ve got older, I question myself a lot more.
MY WORK WARDROBE CONSISTS OF… Smart black clothes.
MY JOB ENTAILS… Looking after my wonderful clients, the day-to-day running of the salon, and the training and mentoring of our amazing team.
I GOT HERE BY… Always working hard, being passionate about my craft, and by giving 100 per cent to my clients at any of the salons I have had the privilege to be part of.
MY DAY CONSISTS OF… The daily running of the salon. I’m normally pretty booked up on a day-to-day basis and I like to be at the forefront of the salon.
MY FAVOURITE WORK TOOL IS… My scissors – I love cutting.
MY DAILY FUEL IS… Water and coffee. I try to be as healthy as I can, but coffee is my pick-me-up.
MY SPOTIFY PLAYLIST INCLUDES… Coldplay, George Michael, the Cure, Bruno Mars.
I’M ALWAYS… Planning ahead. I think it’s important to plan ahead and that inspires clients as they generally book ahead too!
WHEN I GET STRESSED… I take a bit of time out and try to stay calm.
WHEN I GET STUCK… I turn to my team for support and guidance. We have a great work ethic in the salon and work together as a team to help and support each other at all times.
THE MISTAKE I LEARNT FROM
THE MOST IS…
Not believing consultations are key. I spend more time now making sure I understand client needs.
THE ADVICE I’M GLAD I IGNORED IS… Not to take chances. I’m so grateful for where I am now.
MY BIGGEST INDULGENCE IS… Travel – I love planning my next trip.
AFTER WORK… The fun begins, as I’m a mum to twin boys!
I DECOMPRESS BY… Spending time with family and friends.
