HELLO...

I’ve enjoyed nearly 17 years with Creative HEAD, and I’m often asked what it is that keeps me fired up and passionate about what we do. In essence, this issue captures perhaps the most compelling reason why I’ve never considered moving away from the hair industry – creativity. Oh my Lord, you guys are incredible. From where you find your sources of inspiration to the final fabulous results, it never fails to keep me buzzing… and in turn encourages the

Creative HEAD team to get creative in how we showcase and celebrate your artistry. That’s why our Creativity special (from page 26) feels so significant. From exceptional colour creatives to wig maestros to precision cutters, each artist speaks to what drives them. You’ll also see just how vital collaborations are in capturing lightening in a bottle, and indeed, even the clients themselves who sit in your chair. So, please allow us to salute your enduring creative spirit – both in these pages and with the reveal of our Most Wanted and It List winners! – and thank you for keeping me and the Creative HEAD team excited and fuelled by everything that you do. Please don’t stop!

JOIN US!

As this issue went to press, we were getting our glam on for the Grand Final of the Most Wanted and It List Awards. By now, our winners will be named, and it’ll all be over. Well, until we bring back all the MWIT magic in our souvenir supplement, FREE with next month’s issue and online at creativeheadmag.com! Meanwhile, our September cover shoot, in partnership with Wella Professionals, serves up a delectable menu of looks, with artist-crafted colour menus and exclusive video Q&As with the team to dive into online. Marshmallow Melt anyone...? Enjoy!
