THE LEAD – CRISTIANO BASCIU FOR L’ORÉAL PROFESSIONNEL PARIS
Cristiano Basciu and the Richard Ward hair team crafted a diverse line-up of hair looks for the most recent show in the Fashion in Motion series at the V&A Museum. Styles ranged from sleek ponytails and French plaits to enhanced curls and texture, with models sporting ribbon or lengths of fabric as a nod to the Chanel 2016 collection. Products used included L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Tecni.ART Pli, as well as the Tecni. ART Super Dust Styling Powder for body and volume.
Fashion in Motion is a series of shows featuring leading fashion designers from around the world. Hosted at the renowned Raphael Gallery of the V&A Museum, the latest served as a fitting homage to Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel, featuring garments crafted by second year BA Fashion students from Central Saint Martins, as well as coinciding with the sold out exhibition, Gabrielle Chanel: Fashion Manifesto.
